- Privacy for Pals v1.0
- Beta Release
- by Matthew Koglin
- (c) 1993 PalWare, Ltd.
-
- Thank you for using PalWare's Privacy for Pals v1.0. Privacy for Pals (PFP) is
- a state of the art encryption system that uses not a common encrypt message, but
- a different one for each message you choose. This means that if you encrypt the
- message 'This is a test' using the password 'Hello', and decrypt the encrypted
- message using the password 'Goodbye', or anything other than hello, you will
- receive garbage.
-
- PFP is the newest in personal encryption. It's uses range from business,
- personal memos, electronic mail, etc. Simple leave a disk with a text file on
- your partner's desk, and have no fear of anyone swiping it and reading the
- information.
-
- This version of PFP is being beta tested until 1/1/94, when the newest version
- will be released. If you are a registered user of PFP, you will receive the
- registration code for the next version for only one dollar!
-
- This version of PFP has taken many long days of work. The author feels that his
- encryption system is right up next to thousand dollar systems, but for a much
- lower price. If this product was sold commercially, it might be that much.
- But, because of the high demand for this product, he has decided to release it
- as Shareware/PalWare. If you like it, and would like to rid yourself of the
- unregistered delay, send $5 for the registration code to:

-
- PalWare is not only a company, but an idea. The idea is, "If you like it, give
- it to a pal." This not only helps circulate the product, but creates a massive
- demand for the next version.
-
- Thank you for your help on this mighty quest.
